Portland, Oregon

Brian Federico, BA ’05, is originally from Nogales, Arizona and has lived in Portland since graduating from Lewis & Clark. He remained at L&C from 2005 to 2010, serving the college as an assistant dean of admissions, assistant director of multicultural recruitment, and most recently as a development officer. While at Lewis & Clark, Brian traveled extensively throughout the U.S. building relationships with high school counselors, students, parents, and alumni. As an admissions officer, Brian reworked the operations of the campus visit program, and later as a development officer, helped revive the Parents Council. “Being on the road as an admissions officer and a development officer was the highlight of my professional life on campus. Being in new places, meeting all sorts of new people, gathering and sharing stories – it was fun and meaningful work,” he says.

While still an undergrad, Brian was an English major and was heavily involved on campus, participating in the Gender Studies Symposium as co-chair, a student life intern in Multicultural Affairs, and was involved in United Sexualities and Gente Latina Unida.

In 2012, Brian earned his MBA from Portland State University and is now the Regional Director of Development, Stanford Graduate School of Business.
