Statement from Lewis & Clark Admissions Regarding COVID-19
In response to national concerns about COVID-19, we have made the following decisions, which we feel are in the best interest of the health and well-being of our campus visitors as well as the Lewis & Clark College community:
- The deadline for first-year students to respond to a Lewis & Clark College offer of admission has been extended from May 1 to June 1. The reply deadline for transfer students is also June 1.
- On March 23, Oregon Governor, Kate Brown JD ’85, issued Executive Order 20-12, prohibiting colleges from most in-person instruction and on-campus operations. Therefore, to do our part to “flatten the curve,” the Office of Admissions and the Financial Aid Office are closed for on-campus visits indefinitely.
- Lewis & Clark College plans to hold in-person classes for the Fall 2020 semester, with safety protocols in place to protect our community. To learn more about our fall plans, please see our FAQ.
