Compass Scholars Weekend

A compass is a tool that helps us find our direction. As you set your own path forward, a compass can guide you to where you wish to go.

It is our hope that your experience during Compass Scholars Weekend will help you find your direction as you think about your future after high school. As you explore our campus, community, and city, we hope that you will discover a network of amazing peers from across the country, while experiencing together all that Lewis & Clark College has to offer.

Who: Seniors in high school who are interested in learning more about Lewis & Clark College. Preference will be given to students from historically underrepresented backgrounds including students of color and/or first generation prospective college students.

What: Travel to our campus to meet current students and faculty, participate in leadership development activities, sit in on classes, spend two nights in a residence hall, try the food, interview with a member of the admissions staff, visit Portland, and experience life at Lewis & Clark College firsthand.

*Lewis & Clark College will cover the cost for all flights, transportation, lodging, and meals.*

Where: Portland, Oregon

When: November 3rd - 5th, 2019

How: The Compass Scholars Weekend application is now closed.

Do you live within driving distance?

Yes, this is a “fly”-in program, but students also come by bus, train, and car! We happily work with local students on transportation to campus.
