• Do letters of recommendation need to come directly from the writer or can I send them to the graduate admissions office?

  The online application process includes letter of recommendation forms. When you complete your online application, you automatically will be using the online letter of recommendation process.
• You suggest that a professor write a letter for me. I’ve been out of college for a few years and lost contact with my professors. Can I ask someone else to write a letter of support?

  Yes. We realize some of our applicants have been out of school while pursuing their careers or raising their families. The forms and letters should be written by three individuals who know you and are qualified to evaluate your academic competence, character and/or experience in professional or leadership roles. In addition to professors, applicants can ask supervisors, professional colleagues, or employers to provide a recommendation.
• Can I submit the letters of recommendation before I submit my online application?

  The letter of recommendation process is embedded in the online application for admission (no exceptions). You can begin your online application and submit the letter of recommendation section prior to completing you online application.
• What does it mean to Waive My Right to view my letters of recommendation?

  When requesting letters of recommendation, we ask whether or not you wish to waive your right to review this letter of recommendation. Applicants can answer “yes” or “no.” 
  
  
  

• I would like to request more than three letters of recommendation. How do I do that?
