A life trustee of the Lewis & Clark Board of Trustees (and board chair from 2011-2013), Jim Richardson continues his service to Lewis & Clark by joining the Bates Center Advisory Board. For the past 30 years, Mr. Richardson has been an executive and director in numerous public and private high tech companies including FEI Company, AvantGo, Plumtree Software, Epicor Software and Tripwire. On those boards, Mr. Richardson served in various roles, including chairman, audit chair, compensation chair, and nominating and governance committee member.
Currently, Mr. Richardson serves on the board of Digimarc. At Digimarc (DMRC), he is the lead independent director and a member of all three board committees. Mr. Richardson’s nonprofit board service includes the Oregon Historical Society and the Oregon Sports Authority. He is an alumnus of Lewis & Clark College and Lewis & Clark Law School.
