Dylan Kruse BA ’09, policy director for Sustainable Northwest, a conservation group in Portland, was interviewed by Evergreen magazine. He discussed Sustainable Northwest’s goals and methods for revitalizing rural communities and restoring natural land by economic means. When Kruse is not navigating these political waters, he cochairs the Oregon Forest Biomass Working Group, serves on the board of the Biomass Thermal Energy Council, and sits on the steering committee of the National Rural Assembly.
