Sheryl Gillilan BA ’80 was elected to join the board of directors for Philippines Humanitarian, a U.S.-based nonprofit that works to provide education to impoverished youth in the Philippines. Gillilan first connected with Filipino culture as a foreign exchange student during high school. She is also executive director of Art Access, a Utah-based nonprofit that offers arts programs for people with disabilities and others with limited arts access.
