Tara was born and raised in sunny San Diego, California.
She attended Chapman University for her undergraduate degree and studied Art History. Upon graduation in 2007, she accepted a position at Chapman as a resident director. In 2009, she packed her bags and moved to Corvallis, Oregon, to pursue her Masters of Education in college student services administration at Oregon State University. While at OSU, she continued to work as a resident director and had internships in multiple offices across campus including New Student Programs and Family Outreach and the Center for Leadership Development.
In 2011, Tara started working at Lewis & Clark College in the Annual Giving office and managed the phonathon program and student philanthropy engagement. Tara moved over to the Alumni, Parent, and Student Engagement office in 2014. Tara loves working with the students at L&C and connecting them to our outstanding alumni family.
Tara lives in NE Portland with her husband, daughter, and pug. She loves cooking, trying new restaurants, being outdoors, and traveling.
