Parkour and Freerunning

Parkour and Freerunning club aims to teach the discipline of Parkour to anybody who wishes to learn, regardless of their previous experience or physical background. We believe that the positive impacts that training has on overall health, confidence, and physical fitness are worth sharing to anyone who will listen! In order to ensure everyone can attend and get quality guided instruction, we hold sessions every day at 3pm with at least two experienced practitioners present. Of course, informal sessions outside of these hours are also frequent. Our sessions emphasize developing physical strength and technical abilities in addition to more “mental” skills, such as approaching obstacles critically and creatively and overcoming fear; we utilize a gradual, progression-based approach that stresses using proper, safe form in place of power, as this not only leads to the best results, but also prevents injury.
