Brian Riffel is Executive Director of the Robert D. and Marcia H. Randall Charitable Trust, a small, private foundation based in Portland, Oregon that provides grants in the areas of education, youth development, community-building, arts/culture, and public policy in the Pacific Northwest, primarily in Oregon. Prior to accepting this position in 2016, he was Administrator of the Autzen Foundation, a Portland-based family foundation established in the 1950s.
With a background as a CPA, Brian was inspired to transition to the nonprofit sector after serving on the founding Board of his neighborhood community center. He spent nearly a decade as Fiscal/Deputy Director of a local domestic violence services provider and served on several nonprofit boards, including the Hollywood Theatre. Currently, Brian is a Trustee of the Randall Children’s Hospital Foundation and a Board Member of the Columbia Gorge Interpretive Center Museum in Stevenson, WA.
