Trisha grew up in Mountain View, CA but now calls Sellwood home! She graduated in 2016 with a major in biology and a minor in theatre with a focus in dance. She dedicated much of her time at L&C to student leadership endeavors, including working as an RA, New Student Orientation Director, choreographer for Dance Extravaganza, production manager/stage manager/choreographer for Dance Y, Student Alumni Association Ambassador, Student Academic Affairs Board Representative, and a TA for the biology department. She also studied abroad on a Biology trip to New Zealand and still holds fond memories of her whānau there.
After graduating, she moved across the river with her now-fiancé, Nick, who she met freshman year at L&C. They have lived there since, with their two retired racing greyhounds! She also recently completed her master’s degree, in public health with a focus on health systems management and policy, from the OHSU-PSU School of Public Health. She currently works as a PSU Hatfield Fellow Grantee, implementing a quality assurance and performance improvement program for long term care and assisted living facilities across Oregon. She is eager to translate the project management, program implementation and evaluation skills she has honed over her fellowship to her passion for reproductive and gender justice.
Trisha is passionate about building and maintaining relationships, which is why she is proud to continually stay connected to her alma mater. She hopes to contribute to fostering a legacy of improvement for L&C alumni, past, present, and future. Outside of work, she can be found in the yoga studio, salsa or blues dancing, bouldering, or hiking one of the many GORGEous trails in OR/WA.
