Urban Indian Health Institute Internship Program
Each year, Urban Indian Health Institute (UIHI) hosts full-time public health interns to explore public health careers by participating in projects related to epidemiology, clinical services, public health, Indigenous evaluation, and research within urban American Indian/Alaska Native populations.
The internship program creates a space for Native students to build their skills and knowledge of public health and helps train the next generation of public health workers in Decolonizing Data. The goal is to create a larger network of Native public health students ready to join the workforce and work in Native communities across the nation. Learn more:
