Hanako Imber

Class of 2010
Tigard, Oregon
Young Alumni Council President

Hanako Imber spent most of her childhood in Olympia, WA. She graduated in 2010 from Lewis & Clark where she majored in Economics and Computer Science & Mathematics. Some of her fondest memories of LC are working as the Student Life Intern for the Office of Multicultural Affairs and studying abroad in Osaka, Japan. Hanako also participated on the LC team for the Mathematical Competition in Modeling her sophomore year. She happened to meet her now husband on this math team and they reside in Tigard, Oregon.

Since graduating, Hanako has been involved in the LC community through her work with the Board of Alumni, serving as an advisor for the Center for Community and Global Health, and participation in various events around careers, mentorship, and student life. One of the things she enjoys about being part of the alumni community is forming lasting and meaningful friendships with other LC alumni that weren’t on campus at the same time she was.

Hanako currently works for Cloudmed as VP of Data Operations & Client Onboarding. Cloudmed is a healthcare technology company focused on revenue intelligence and making sure hospitals are reimbursed accurately for the care they provide. Her work experience spans data analysis, product management, software implementations, project management, and technical leadership. She is passionate about solving interesting problems, building diverse and inclusive teams, and mentoring rising leaders - particularly women in technology.

Her free time is filled with reading, coaching youth soccer, and spending as much time as possible enjoying the great PNW outdoors via hiking, kayaking, backpacking, and camping.
