Teaching languages is Tatiana’s passion she has been sharing with her students around the world.

Tatiana Likhacheva first joined the Lewis & Clark community in 2015 when she taught Russian conversation class and ran the Russian Club as a Fulbright Language Teaching Assistant.

Working at Lewis & Clark is one of the highlights of her teaching career in addition to almost ten years of teaching English and Russian as a foreign language at Northern (Arctic) federal university in Arkhangelsk, Russia. In her hometown, Tatiana taught all levels of Russian at annual Summer and Winter schools of the Russian language.

Tatiana is excited to be part of the Lewis & Clark community for the spring semester 2022. Currently, she teaches Russian 102 and Russian 202.

In her free time, Tatiana enjoys reading in English, studying German, postcrossing, hiking the Oregon coast, driving her car, and trying out new recipes.
