Legal Research Center
Darcie Esch joined the Law School development staff in August 2021 after spending 6+ years in Advancement Services. She’s proud to be part of the Lewis & Clark community because she believes education can be the great equalizer. Being passionate about literacy led her be a SMART Reading volunteer for many years and serve on its Multnomah County Advisory Committee. She has 20 years experience in the nonprofit world as a grant writer and database specialist. She was drawn to nonprofits after working in the financial services industry, where it quickly became apparent her values did not align with theirs.
When not reading literary and detective fiction, nonfiction, history or biographies, you will fund her planning her next road trip or adventure in a far-flung country she has yet to explore. And if you ever need an umbrella, this born and raised Oregonian always has one at the ready.
