Heather originally came to Lewis & Clark as a faculty member in the first-year Core program, and moved into advising soon after. She has a BA in English and International Affairs from Mount Holyoke College, a MA in English from the University of Virginia, and a PhD in Victorian and Environmental Literature from Rice University. She is a committed advocate for liberal arts education, and for the students at LC. Heather has a serious NY Times crossword habit, and also loves to hike, cook (not bake), and spend time with her two rescue dachshunds, Molly and Matilda.
