My name is Andrew Fowler, and I’m from Alameda, California. I’m majoring in World Languages (Chinese and German) and Computer Science at Lewis & Clark. I’m open to opportunities in the field of Computer Science, but I’m especially interested in Natural Language Processing, which deals with the interaction of computers with human language. In addition to my coursework this year, I hope to revise, annotate, and publish English translations of my grandma’s diaries, which describe her life in East Berlin from 1949 to 1956. In my free time, I love to hike, read, write, learn new languages, and go on adventures with my friends.
