Pat McLachlan Paterson

Pat McLachlan Paterson BA ’62 writes: “Public schools began August 3 here, and I spent most of August booked with subbing jobs. I work at the elementary level and learn new things often—which I forget quickly! During the last school year, I worked most days wearing a mask and keeping kids apart. I did a little online teaching, which I did not like. I’m so glad it will be a more ‘normal’ school year. My two grandchildren live in Oregon. My granddaughter has studied the last two years at Linfield. My son and his wife come each Christmas from Japan to visit me—and my two cats.”
