Portland, Oregon

Jessica Mullins grew up in Randle, Washington — a small rural town at the base of Mt. Rainier. While on a softball recruiting trip, Jessica was drawn to the campus and the community at Lewis & Clark. Jessica earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics & Computer Science in 2010. She was a four-year letterman for the Pioneer softball team. Her teammates became some of her closest friends.

Jessica was part of the Black Student Union at Lewis & Clark, serving as president for a term. She also did an internship in the Office of Multicultural Affairs. Jessica enjoyed being able to connect with students on campus from different backgrounds and organizing on-campus events. Jessica worked as a Student Trainer in the Athletic Department, which was one of her all-time favorite jobs. She loved working with the staff and other Student Trainers. Jessica traveled with the football team to games in California and Illinois and had a lot of fun.

After graduation, Jessica coached softball at Sunset High School for three years while also working as a Software Engineer for Columbia Sportswear Company. Jessica got her Master’s in Computer Science from the University of Illinois. She now works as an Engineering Manager at Nike in Beaverton, Oregon.

Jessica and her partner, Seth, live in Portland, OR with their son Kanoa and daughter Kaleia. Jessica and her family enjoy trying new foods, spending time outside, and running obstacle course races.
