Among the professional ones is the publication of The Italian Invert: A Gay Man’s Intimate Confessions to Emile Zola (Columbia University Press, 2022), which I coedited and cotranslated.”

William Peniston BA ’81 has retired after 25 years as librarian and archivist at the Newark Museum of Art. “It has been a wonderful career at a great institution in charge of fascinating collections in support of creative staff members and very smart researchers,” he writes.
