Bio

I am from Kyle, Texas, which is a small city outside of Austin, Texas. Currently, I am studying Environmental Studies and Pre-Law. I chose this path because I have a strong appreciation for law and policy that is geared towards justice, protection and environmental equity. As a future career, I want to work with areas that experience the devastating effects of climate change, as well as empowering marginalized groups. As a board member for Tryon Creek Watershed Council and The Native Plant Society of Oregon, I am fortunate to engage in daily discussions on species protection and community engagement. Even though environmentalism takes up most of my time, I have been able to pursue other delights like software security, poetry, and playing the fiddle. You can also find me eating veggies at the Portland Farmers Market, wandering around art museums, and road tripping through the Pacific Northwest.
