What is something you enjoy about Lewis & Clark College?: With my short time on campus, I have truly enjoyed the beautiful campus, I feel like a character in a fairytale story when walking across campus. I look forward to working with and learning from our students and community.

Three random facts about you:

  1. I cannot finger snap. :(
  2. I can speak Chinese.
  3. I love soup (any kind, any time, anywhere - I’ll be there). :)

What does equity and inclusion mean to you: Equity and inclusion are about being mindful of all the identities and the intersection of identities while creating space for those who do not typically have space. It’s about taking the time to learn about others who may come from a background or journey so that we can be a stronger, more well-round, knowledgeable community.

What does self-care/community-care look like for you: Self-care to me, is intentionally taking time for yourself and doing something that helps you reset. For me, it is taking the time to take deep breaths, practicing mindfulness, going on walks, exercising, journaling, and connecting with my support system. Community-care to me, is about taking care of each other. Taking the time to check in with each other, to stop and engage in conversation, and to find ways to be in the community.
