Carlie Core serves as Placement Coordinator for the following programs at Lewis & Clark’s Graduate School of Education and Counseling: Art Therapy, Marriage Couple & Family Therapy, Professional Mental Health Counseling, and Professional Mental Health Counseling- Specialization in Addictions.
She has a passion for helping the community and is excited to use her experience in social services and higher education to support students in the Counseling and Therapy programs while they pursue their careers.
Prior to Lewis & Clark, Carlie worked in career services providing guidance to students and community members while they worked toward their goals. She has experience creating partnerships with employers, connecting clients to community resources, and placing students in well-fitting internship opportunities. Carlie earned her BA from Eastern Washington University, majoring in Children’s Studies with a focus on Community Programming and a minor in Sociology.
In her free time, she enjoys hiking, gardening, roadtripping, reading, and practicing yoga.
