Joel Wellington Fisher received a BA from the University of New Hampshire where he studied English and psychology in 1997. He received a MFA in photography from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2006. In the fall of 2006 Joel began work and study at the Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst in Leipzig, Germany on a Fulbright Fellowship. His work has shown nationally and internationally in both group and solo exhibitions.
