Bio

I was born and raised in Fargo, North Dakota (the best city in the Milky Way galaxy). I am a biochemistry and molecular biology major, planning to pursue a future of scientific research in plant pathology or a similar agricultural field. During the summer, I work in a sugar beet disease lab for the USDA where I research different fungi that attack the beets. While at LC, I have learned that I love taking language classes. I have already completed my language requirement for Arabic and I am now enrolled in Italian. I love that LC allows me to pursue a degree in the STEM field whilst still taking ample SOAN and language courses. My true passion is exploring downtown Portland, consuming lots of tacos, donuts, and black licorice lattes. I am the Pio’s biggest fan-you can catch me on it nearly every day of the week!
