Pablo Llambias has traveled around the world on his musical path. He started at a young age learning flute, piano, and guitar which led him to begin studying arrangement and composition in the Modern School of Music (Santiago, Chile) in 1998. In 1997, he discovered North Indian classical percussion (Tabla), and trained under Shri Sanjay Bhadoriya. In 1999, he was awarded the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) music scholarship by the Indian Government.
Pablo continued his study of Indian Classical Music in Lalit Khala Kendra (Center for Performing Arts) at Pune University from 1999 to 2004. During those years he underwent intensive musical training under Pt Ramdas Palsule ́s tutelage and the renowned Tabla Maestro, Pt Suresh Talwalkar. He attended many workshops with masters, such as, Pt Bhay Gaitonde, Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, Pt Uday Bawalkar and many others. In 2004, he graduated with a B.A in Indian Classical Music from Pune University.
Pablo has performed with Pt G.S Sachdev, Shri Sanjay Bhadoriya, and a number of western and Indian musicians. Pablo devotes his time to performing and teaching seminars of Indian Music in different universities as well as private tabla students.
