Alan Amling

Alan Amling BA ’86 retired from United Parcel Service after 27 years and finished his PhD. He is now an associate professor of practice at the University of Tennessee. His first book, Organizational Velocity, was published last year.

Alan Amling BA ’86 joined the faculty of the University of Tennessee in July 2019. He earned a PhD in management from Kennesaw State University in December 2019.

Alan Amling BA ’86, most recently vice president of UPS Ventures, retired after 28 years with the investment firm in March 2019. He is now finishing his PhD in management at Kennesaw State University, with the aim of pursuing new adventures.
