Thomas Youmans

Thomas Youmans BA ’09, who graduated in 2009 with a double major in physics and economics, played tennis for the Pios and held the office of vice president of the student body from 2007–08. After graduating, Youmans served in the Peace Corps in Bulgaria; earned his MS in mathematics and statistics from Georgetown University; and worked at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He then launched Rhoman Aerospace, a start-up that creates car-size drones for autonomous medical evacuation and emergency resupply after natural disasters and for use on the army front lines.
