Jennifer Seavey BS ’91 is chief programs officer for the Island Institute, a nonprofit in Maine. Previously, She served as executive director for Shoals Marine Laboratory. Seavey holds a master’s degree in wildlife science from the University of Washington and a doctorate in natural resource conservation from the University of Massachusetts.

Jennifer Seavey BS ’91 received the Women in American History Award, presented by the Margery Sullivan Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, at the organization’s annual awards luncheon in March 2019.
