Eva Magaña ’20 (she/her)
Rhetoric and Media Studies Major, Theatre Minor
Eva is from Ontario, California, She is new to SAA this year. But Eva has always been working with Alumni. Her first year she worked at Phonathon where she engaged in meaningful discussions with alumni since then she has been working for PubCom where she edits and produces videos for the Lewis & Clark YouTube page, she also works with the Theatre department and interviews alumni for their newsletter each semester. Eva is looking to form connections and help other students do the same. Her goal is to ensure that students on campus feel as if they have the right support and questions answered before graduation.
Eva is a Rhetoric and Media Studies major with a minor in Theatre. Her focus is on producing and design, she has been able to practice these skills when she was an assistant costume designer for the main stage musical of Sweeney Todd, assistant stage manager for mainstage productions, and is president of SCIT. In her Rhetoric and Media Studies major she has made a handful of films her roles included being a director, producer, cinematographer, costume designer, set designer, and editor, sometimes multiple roles at once. For Fall of 2019, Eva is a co-chair for the Ray Warren Symposium and in the TedxLewisandClark committee, she will continue to work in both Pubcom and the theatre department.
