Who is your mentor on campus? Why do you consider this person your mentor?

My mentor on campus is an upperclassman named Matthew. I consider him my mentor because he has had experiences at Lewis & Clark College as a person of color and as a first-generation student that I could relate to.

What made you want to come to Lewis & Clark?

When I came for a fly-in visit of the campus, I immediately felt welcomed into such a loving and caring community that I knew I wanted to be a part of.

Why did you choose to do the Xplore program?

I felt like Xplore would provide me with the necessary connections and tools I need to excel as a STEM major.

What was the best thing about the Xplore program?

The best thing about Xplore was being able to build a community of friends and familiar faces on campus before classes started.
