Supportive, Friendly, Challenging

What’s your favorite class? How has it expanded your knowledge?

My favorite class would be Computer Science II (CS 172) with Professor Peter Drake. I enjoy how this class is structured with partnered programing. We focus on working together to create programs in Java. This class has expanded my knowledge by learning how to break down a big problem into smaller tasks.

Who is your mentor on campus? Why do you consider this person your mentor?

My mentor on campus is Brett. She is constantly supporting and encouraging me. She also helps me find balance between school and sports.

What made you want to come to Lewis & Clark?

I like how Lewis & Clark is a small college with unique opportunities.

Why did you choose to transfer to Lewis & Clark? How is Lewis & Clark supporting you as a transfer student?

I chose to transfer to Lewis & Clark because of the diverse staff, friendly community, and the beautiful campus. Most of all, I knew Lewis & Clark would challenge me academically and help me to grow to be the best person that I can be. As a transfer student, Lewis & Clark supports me by offering many resources to be involved on campus. Utilizing these resources helps me to get the most out of my college experience. 

What’s your favorite spot on campus?

My favorite spot on campus is the Pamplin Sports Center. As an athlete, I spend a lot of time in the gym and it has become my second home.
