7:00p - THE LAST 5 YEARS by Jason Robert Brown

“An intimate, endearing and deeply touching story of two people in a relationship who can never quite connect with one another. Told in opposite chronology …”

8:00p - METAMORPHOSES by Mary Zimmerman
Directed by Alison Stake
“Stories of transformation … Zimmerman presents the idea of change, and more specifically the heart’s ability to change, to be healed, and to be open to new ideas.”

Directed by Ro Haan
“The trademark Stoppardian style in which the play is written … is a perfect balance between philosophical, intellectually driven discourse and fast-paced, witty humour.”

Program B: Thursday, April 21 & Saturday, April 23

7:00p - THE TEMPEST by William Shakespeare
Directed by Rachel Erickson
“Prospero’s island, existing outside the rules of society, is a place where stories can be told and multiple endings are possible.”

8:00p - ART by Yasmina Reza
Directed by Jon Wash
“What constitutes a friendship?  Is it love?  Dependence?  Influence?  Is friendship derived from selfless or selfish impulses?  How malleable is the self?”

9:00p - MARISOL by Jose Rivera
Directed by Grace Wedgewood
“Life has been turned upside down as we watch New York transform into an urban jungle where destruction reigns … parallels resonate (for us) from the changes in the environment to political strife to a sense of universal ruin.”

10:00p - THE FEVER by Wallace Shawn
Directed and Performed by Petra Lamberson
“A desperate struggle to make sense of societal inequity in an attempt to answer questions about class difference and the state of the world.  Why is there such an imbalance?”
