As we strive to create a more inclusive and equitable campus community, I’m excited to share a resource with you: a two-part podcast series titled “The Heart of Leadership” hosted by Brené Brown.
This series features Brené’s insightful conversation with Aiko Bethea and Ruchika Tulshyan, leaders deeply committed to DEIB work.
The Heart of Leadership Part 1
The first part delves into the core meaning of belonging in the context of DEIB. It takes a deep dive in discussing “demanding the business case” for investing in DEIB work. Brené emphasizes that belonging isn’t an afterthought; it’s central to authentic leadership and a foundation for a thriving campus environment.
Look for Part 2 of the series next week.
