Check out the work of ART327: Useful Art in the Watzek Library! Now through mid-December.
The Circulation Project comes out of Art 327: Useful Art - a special topics class in the art department taught by Professor Jess Perlitz that explores a history of art and usefulness, and artmaking that wants to affect change. For this project, students were tasked with making something that could be of service to the community that can be checked out of Watzek Library. The projects range from an elder to offer you advice, to an undying fish companion. If you stop by the library between now and mid-December, you can check out (we mean this quite literally) 15 different projects, including your own recipes for the living, contributing to Student Reviews of the L&C Product, or the freedom to dress Theodoso the Oso.
