Peer Tutoring Now Open at the Writing Center!
The Writing Center (located on the main floor of Watzek Library) is a campus resource for writers at all levels of experience and proficiency in writing papers. Students can come in – no appointment needed – to meet with a friendly, experienced peer tutor at any stage of the writing process, from initial brainstorming to final revisions. We’re prepared to talk with you about general ideas, a thesis statement, argumentative structure, an outline, use of evidence, sentence-level revisions, or anything else that can help you get your writing going. We don’t offer straight-up copyediting, but we’re happy to help you work on your proofreading skills. And we’re happy to meet with you in person or remotely – you can sign in when you arrive, or through our website.
