The Information Technology department is happy to announce the availability of voicemail to email functionality on all three campuses. This technology will be activated for all LC staff and faculty beginning Monday, July 18th. Voicemail to email provides a convenient and easy way to stay on top of phone messages.
Once activated, voicemail messages will automatically be sent as an audio attachment to your LC email address. Messages deleted from email will be deleted from the phone system as well. As a result, this should help eliminate the possibility of voicemail boxes becoming full.
This service only works on LC phone numbers. If you have forwarded your LC phone to a non-LC phone number, this functionality will not work and voicemail will not be delivered to your inbox. To update your LC phone settings, please see the following instructions.
If after July 18th, you find your voicemails are not being forwarded, or if you would like this functionality turned off, please contact the IT Service Desk. Department phone voicemail boxes can also be set up by request. We have created an FAQ which contains greater details along with answers to commonly asked questions.
As always, if you have any questions please feel free to reach out to the IT Service Desk at itservice@lclark.edu or 503-768-7225.
