Seniors, Watzek is interested in your reading recommendations!

If you are graduating, Watzek Library invites you to tell us about the books that have mattered the most to you.

Watzek Library is eager to learn about the reading lives of graduating seniors, and in particular the books that have shaped you over your time at the college. We hope to share a summary of your responses with any of you who are interested after graduation (fodder for summer reading!), and to share a list of your recommendations with new students in the fall.

This collective portrait of reading is inspired by the “Faculty Best Books” pamphlet that the library published in 1996 and again in 2018. Faculty were asked to share up to four recommended titles, defining “best” however they saw fit. A PDF of the second edition can be found here: https://tinyurl.com/4ypy3cba

If you are interested in sharing your recommendations, please visit https://forms.gle/9mEJkh1NYk2XWbuz5. While the form will collect your email address, any quotes we use from you will be identified only by major. We encourage you to respond by May 7. Questions may be sent to Erica Jensen at ejensen@lclark.edu.

Please share this opportunity with any graduating friends you think may be interested! Students who are not yet graduating are also welcome to respond.
