Grocery Delivery for Self-Isolating Students - Summer 2021

This guidance applies to the period between May 6th - August 24th, 2021

Starting on May 7th, 2021 there will be no meal delivery service available for students in isolation or quarantine during the summer break. Students who are self-isolating or need to move into on-campus isolation or quarantine housing due to a positive COVID-19 test must work with Campus Safety to arrange for grocery delivery.

We recommend ordering grocery delivery through Safeway or Instacart.

Please instruct the delivery person to drop groceries off at Campus Safety. On the day of the delivery, call Campus Safety at (503)-768-7855 and let them know your name, your phone number, and when your groceries will be delivered.

Campus Safety will let you know when your groceries arrive. They will bring them to your room or, for students in Hartzfeld A or B, place them in the black cabinet outside the entrance. To ensure Campus Safety can reach you, please be sure to answer your phone and that your voice mailbox is not full.

Rooms in Hartzfeld A and B are equipped with a small refrigerator and a microwave, but there is no kitchen access. For this reason, we recommend ordering food that does not require extensive cooking or preparation.
