You can provide lasting support for a student today
September 24, 2020
Right now, your world probably feels upside down. There are more questions than answers, more uncertainty than certainty, and it seems that every day brings another challenge.
Lewis & Clark students also feel the weight of this uncertainty. Your philanthropic support of the Annual Fund is vital to their success in these challenging times. Your leadership gift provides all students reassurance by funding scholarships, supporting superb faculty, and giving access to flexible academic programming during these turbulent pandemic times.
COVID-19 has changed the way we deliver a Lewis & Clark education. In order to provide a safe and productive learning environment, faculty and students need new technology, such as webcams, microphones, and tablets, to support in their classwork, both on campus and remotely.
To ensure everyone’s safety, everyone must wear face masks while on campus. In addition, rapid testing machines, plexiglass, and improved ventilation equipment are being utilized to help keep everyone on campus healthy.
Underlying not only our urgent pandemic preparations but really all of our work is our belief in equity and inclusion. To reaffirm these beliefs, we are seeking additional support of scholarships for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, person of color) students.
Your generous giving helps provide an excellent education—whether in person or online—and maintain a safe learning and working environment for all students.
Now more than ever before, students are relying on you as they pursue their journey to become tomorrow’s critical thinkers, entrepreneurs, and global leaders.
Knowing the transformative impact of giving, you are invited to become a member of the Leadership Society today. Your role in the success of Lewis & Clark students is vital during this time.
