LC Day of Giving Success!

With the strong support of the Pioneer community, we exceeded our goals and raised more than $225,000 - and that’s before the $100,000 match!

With the strong support of the Pioneer community, we exceeded our goals and raised more than $225,000 - and that’s before the $100,000 match!

Thanks to everyone who donated, posted on social media, and celebrated Lewis & Clark together. We’re still hard at work counting all of the gifts so check the Day of Giving website next week for a final count.

Results for our on-campus special challenges are:

President Wim Wiewel will match all gifts made by faculty and staff today only (up to $10,000)! Success! $10,000 goal was reached! Faculty and Staff contributed over $26,000!

Dean of the Graduate School of Education and Counseling Scott Fletcher has pledged to match gifts from Graduate School faculty and staff up to $2,000. If at least 50% of GSEC faculty and staff participate in this year’s Day of Giving, Dean Fletcher will contribute an additional $500. 41% (so close!) of Graduate School Faculty and Staff contributed over $2,000! Dean Fletcher will contribute the additional $500!

College of Arts and Sciences Dean Bruce Suttmeier will match every gift (up to $1,867 and made to the Dinah Dodds Endowed Scholarship) made by tenure and tenure track faculty or by staff in departments reporting to the Dean of the College. He also has a prize in store for one randomly selected person. Success! $1,867 goal was reached! The winner will hear from the Dean’s office.

Law School Dean Jennifer Johnson’s dog Bruno has been spreading rumors in the amphitheater that Dean Johnson is planning a surprise for this year’s Day of Giving. Dean Johnson’s surprise was a dollar-for-dollar match up to $1,000! Success! $1,000 goal was reached!

Thank you for making LC Day of Giving a success!
