Twelve student-elected Senators represent the entire school. Their job includes discussing and writing legislation with fellow student leaders and working in tandem with the ASLC Cabinet to promote the interests of the student body.

The Senate of the Associated Students of Lewis & Clark (ASLC) is an institution designed to represent Lewis & Clark students’ needs and interests. Twelve student-elected Senators represent the entire school. Their job includes discussing and writing legislation with fellow student leaders and working in tandem with the ASLC Cabinet to promote the interests of the student body.
Senators are required to attend one Senate meeting per week; they are also expected to serve ASLC by being a member of at least one of ASLC’s standing committees.

If you are interested in running for Senate, please return this application, including 25 signatures, to the ASLC Director of Elections either scanned by email to elections@lclark.edu or under the ASLC Office door in Templeton 251 by Monday March 2nd at 8pm. The election will be held in senate on Thursday, March 5th at 7pm. This deadline can be flexible is needed, just contact the Director of elections.
