Jeffrey Cruttenden is the co-founder of SAY, a technology platform for open communication between companies and their owners. SAY is transforming stock ownership by connecting shareholders to each other and empowering them to access their full ownership rights. The idea was born at Jeff’s first company, Acorns, which Jeff co-founded with his father, Walter, to radically simplify and democratize investing. While in college, Jeff realized that most of his classmates were not able to come up with the lump sum needed to meet minimum balance requirements. Acorns was hatched as an investment application to allow people to easily invest their spare change into diversified portfolios. Jeff graduated Magna cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a BA in Mathematics from Lewis & Clark College, and was recently featured as a Forbes “30 Under 30.”
