Student Leadership and Service (SLS)

Apply to our Tucson Alternative Break Trip

  • Lewis & Clark students connect with other college students after witnessing immigration court proceedings.

ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE COMPLETED BY SUNDAY, DECEMBER 9th.

WHAT: A place-based learning and service experience when students will connect with Tucson-area activists and organizations working for immigrant justice and human rights.

Student Leadership and Service’s (SLS) Alternative Spring Break program is built on a foundation of mutually-beneficial community-campus partnerships. Student participants will work collaboratively to explore a location while learning about a specific social injustice and joining locals working for positive social change.

WHEN: Spring Break - March 23 - 30, 2019

WHO: A group of 10-15 undergraduates will participate in service and learning activities with a faculty advisor and local community partners.
