President of Lewis & Clark’s Entrepreneurship Club featured in popular Portland blog
Rick Turoczy, co-founder of the Portland Incubator Experiment (PIE), founder of TechfestNW and author of the widely-read Portland start-up/tech blog Silicon Florist, wrote about Lewis & Clark Senior Renee Allums-D’Espyne’s powerful talk regarding her experience with the Emerging Leaders Internship (ELI) program. The Emerging Leaders Internship Program matches underrepresented college students (first-generation students, low-income students, and students of color) with well paid internships at top Portland companies. Read this article and watch the video embedded in it to see why her talk concluded with a standing ovation.
The Bates Center for Entrepreneurship and Leadership is located in room 344 of J.R. Howard Hall on the Undergraduate Campus.
