Alumnus Scott Crisp, MAT ’98, receives prestigious Department of Education fellowship

Crisp is one of seven teachers and principals from around the country to earn a prestigious U.S. Department of Education fellowship for a yearlong program.

Greenville Online reports that Wyoming native and Graduate School alum, Scott Crisp, MAT ’98, is one of seven teachers and principals from around the country to earn a prestigious U.S. Department of Education fellowship for a yearlong program.

Crisp is among those selected to collaborate with the department while maintaining his responsibilities as principal of Jackson High School in Jackson, Wyoming.

He will also attend meetings in Washington during the next 12 months. 

The goals of the fellowship program are for the Department of Education staff to understand and learn what is going on at the local level and for local leaders to contribute to policies that impact their students and school communities.
