HERE ARE SOME TESTIMONIALS:

The Theatre-led New York program is incredible for students of any major, although as a

theatre major I know it has had a particularly strong influence on me. Before I went on

the trip, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do after school or where I wanted to live. After

spending three months in NYC, working and living, I know that someday (soon) I will

move to New York to pursue a career in theatre. I cannot recommend this program

enough.

– Rosie Lambert, Senior Theatre major

Going on the New York trip will forever be one of the best things I have done. The

experience was absolutely incredible and truly solidified my plans to move there after I

graduate. We lived in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, giving us easy access to

transportation, Times Square, and Bryant Park. Every week the art class met at various

galleries and museums in Manhattan, Brooklyn, or Queens, exposing us to many

different artistic styles. The architecture class brought us around Manhattan and

Brooklyn, looking at the gorgeous architecture of New York while learning the history of

the city. You will discover things about the city that most people living there don’t even

know. My internship was at the American Ballet Theatre in the Education Department.

While working there I made amazing connections and learned so much about the

administrative side of the performing arts. I highly recommend this trip to anyone who

has a passion for the arts or is interested in living in New York City. It is fantastic

opportunity.
