Always Pioneering

Lewis & Clark graduates leave campus prepared for life after college.

The skills fostered by a liberal arts education—critical and creative thinking, analytical reasoning, global literacy, and the ability to collaborate across various disciplines—allow our alumni to pursue diverse career paths.

“Graduates emerge from Lewis & Clark with the ability to think, to understand other cultures, and to employ entrepreneurial tools.” – Amber Case ’08, cofounder of Geoloqi

Lewis & Clark students graduate prepared to enter the workforce and make a difference in the world. We offer 29 majors in the arts and sciences and a wealth of learning opportunities on and off campus. Our newly renovated Career Center helps students land jobs and internships, and our Center for Entrepreneurship offers courses, workshops, and mentor connections. And over 80 percent of alumni report that our outstanding overseas programs contribute directly to their career success. The skills that make liberal arts graduates distinctive are the abilities employers rank as the most important.

Ninety-six percent of the Class of 2014 are already changing the world through employment, service work, and other endeavors. What else are Lewis & Clark graduates doing? Here’s a sampling of careers former Pioneers have gone into since 1999:
