Open to all experienced elementary and middle school teachers, the goal of Preparation for Instruction of Science & Mathematics to enhance elementary education (PrISM) is to improve instruction in mathematics and science across the state of Oregon.

Through PrISM, elementary teachers study exciting, inquiry-based, integrated math and science courses at Lewis & Clark College, Eastern Oregon University, George Fox University, Oregon State University, Portland State University, University of Portland, and Western Oregon University.

Courses are available in various on-line, summer institute, and flexible formats and feature a common tuition across institutions. Completion of 6 courses earns an experienced teacher a PrISM certificate. Credits earned may stand alone, serve as part of a graduate degree, or contribute to license renewal.
