Alumni Challenge Match Successfully Completed!

More than 1,100 alumni—well over the goal of 930—made gifts to the college during a recent matching challenge by the Lewis & Clark Board of Alumni.

More than 1,100 alumni—well over the goal of 930—made gifts to the college during a recent matching challenge by the Lewis & Clark Board of Alumni. The board generously offered $9,300 to be used as a matching donation that kicked in when 930 alumni made gifts by September 30.

The 930 by 9/30 Challenge ended on the same day as the Black and Orange happy hour parties held around the world for Pioneer alumni and parents, including two parties held on campus to honor seniors who will soon gain their alumni status and alumni faculty and staff.

Gifts to the Annual Fund are part of the operating budget and thus benefit current students in every aspect of their Lewis & Clark experience. The Office of Annual Giving would like to express its deep gratitude to the Board of Alumni for its financial support and volunteer work to promote the challenge to fellow alumni, to Alumni and Parent Programs for its partnership during the challenge, and to all of the alumni who contributed during this time. Thank you!
